| Obituary- Patty, Kenneth KENNETH C. PATTY
Kenneth C. Patty, 72, Rossville, died Saturday, January 12,1980, at his home.
He was born February 17, 1907, at Redfield, Iowa, the son of Carl H. and Mary Elizabeth Jeffries Patty. He has lived for the past 20 years at Rossville.
Mr. Patty owned and operated the Swirly Top Ice Cream store at Rossville.
He was a World War II Army veteran and was a member of the Jimmie Lillard Post No. 31 of the American Legion, Rossville.
On March 8, 1945, he married Erma Haines at St. Louis. She survives.
Other survivors include a son, Gayle Patty, of Illinois; two daughters, Mrs. Mary E. Turner and Mrs. Carolyn Kneppier, both of Mount Vernon, Ill.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Louise Holubur, Marshalltown, Iowa; three brothers, Ralph Patty, Galva, Paul Patty, Des Moines, Iowa, and Roger Patty, Moline, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Mears and Mrs. Helen Hardin, both of Kirkville, Mo.
Services were at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Parker-Price Mortuary, Topeka, and will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Estel-Perrin Funeral Home, Marshalltown, Iowa. Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens, Marshalltown.
