Services are pending at Mass-Hinitt-Alexander Funeral Home, Junction City. Katherine M. Paxton ROSSVILLE — Katherine M. Paxton, 78, Rossville, died Wednesday, Nov. .2, at a Rossville nursing home. She was born Dec. 5, 1915, at McFarland, the daughter of John L. and Katherine M. Crosby Zeller. She attended school in St. Marys. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie No. 830 Auxiliary and was past president. She was a member of St. Xavier Catholic Church. She married Glenn E. Paxton on June 15, 1934, at St. Marys. He died Jan. 16, 1992. The couple had lived in Junction City from 1937 to 1986, when they moved to Topeka before moving on to Rossville in 1990. Survivors include one daughter, Shirley A. Clennan, Topeka; one son, Richard J. Paxton, Junction City; and 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grand-children. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Xavier Catholic Church, Junction City. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Junction City. Rosary will be conducted at the Mass-Hinitt-Alexander Funeral Home, Junction City, at 9 a.m. Saturday. Friends may visit from 1 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today.
