    Lodi Pekarek

    Lodi Pekarek, 67, 1315 N. Jackson, died Wednesday at a Topeka hospital.

    He was born Aug. 23, 1914, at Austin, Minn., the son of Frank J. and Alouise Pekarek, and lived in Topeka most of his life.

    Mr. Pekarek was a retired maintenance man at Washburn University.

    He married Dorothy M. Porter April 23, 1941, in Topeka. She survives.

    Other survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Carol Bibert, Dover, and Sherrill L. Pekarek and Mrs. Barbara A. Stewart, both of Topeka; a son, Larry W. Pekarek, Topeka; three sisters, Mrs. Rose Hutchings and Mrs. Ella Myers, both of Topeka, and Mrs. Alouise Davis, Rossville; a brother, Frank J. Pekarek, Manitou Springs, Colo.; and six grandchildren.

    Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Parker-Price Mortuary. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Topeka. The family will meet with friends from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia Society of America, 1405 S. Hydraulic, Wichita, 67211.
