  Obituary- Pence, Lida PENCE Mrs. Lida May Pence, 34, died Monday afternoon at her home, 429 Adams street, Topeka, of spinal meningitis. She contracted the disease while visiting in Oklahoma and was returned home. She was born in Rossville and had made her home in Topeka 28 years. She was a member of the Presbyterian church. She is survived by her husband, Walter M. Pence; two daughters, Ruth and Ethel Pence; a son, Dale Pence, all of the home address; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wyatt Reser, Topeka; four sisters, Mrs. Goldie McKown, Mrs. Ella Lock, Miss Annabel and Miss Jennette Reser; and three brothers, Joe, Franklin and Martin Reser, all of Topeka. Private funeral services were held Wednesday morning at 10 o’clock at Penwell's chapel.
