    Floyd E. Ping
    Floyd E. Ping, 68, 615 Leland, died Friday at a Topeka hospital.

    He was born Sept. 20, 1912, in North Dakota, the son of C.W. and Alice Barkes Ping, and lived in Topeka for 27 years.

    Mr. Ping was retired from Moorman Buick in Topeka. He was married to Bernice Uhl in Sept. 1952 in Topeka. She survives.

    Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Beth Linnegar, Columbus, Ind.; three sons, Charles Ping, Donald Ping and Marvin Ping, all of Columbus, Ind.; two sisters Mrs. Lavone Brandts, Arlington, Va., and Opal Ping, Taylorville, Ind.; two brothers, Alvin Ping, Lowell, Ind., and Chester Ping, Sharpsburg, Ga.; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

    Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Silver Lake Cemetery. Mr. Ping will lie in state after 8 a.m. Sunday until noon Monday at Parker-Price Mortuary in Topeka.
