    Billy Lee Pipkin
    WICHITA - Billy Lee Pipkin, 66, Wichita, died Sunday, Oct. 10, 1993, at his home.

    Mr. Pipkin was an engineer for Southwestern Bell Telephone Co., before he retired.

    He served in the Navy from 1945 to 1946 during World War II and from 1950 to 1951 during the Korean War.

    He was born July 13, 1927, in Pittsburg, the son of Perry Lee and Ova Leemaster Pipkin.

    Mr. Pipkin was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church in Wichita, Lions Club and Telephone Pioneers of America.

    He was married to Kathleen Seavey July 11, 1958, in Wichita. She survives.

    Other survivors include two daughters, Rhea Rakestraw, Wichita, and Kathy Nadeau, Delia; a son, Mark Pipkin, Leander, Texas; and five grandchildren.

    Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Resthaven Mortuary in Wichita. Burial will be in Resthaven Gardens of Memory in Wichita.
