Mrs. Geraldine Pitts, 70, rural Delia, died Sunday, April 10, 1983, at St. Francis Hospital in Topeka. She was born October 19, 1912, in Wamego. She lived at Maple Hill before moving to Delia 12 years ago.
She was married to Ralph L. Pitts in 1933. He preceded her in death Feburary 2, 1981.
Surviving are one son, Ralph L. Pitts III, White City; three daughters, Mrs. Shirley Henderson, Carbondale, Mrs. Linda Downie, Topeka, and Mrs. Nancy Mercer, Delia; one sister, Maxine Lewis, Topeka; three brothers, Dale Friesen, Council Bluffs, Ia., Donald Friesen and Robert Friesen, both of Topeka; 16 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Parker-Price Mortuary in Topeka with the Reverend William B. Adair officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Topeka.

NOTICE TO CREDITORS
THE STATE OF KANSAS TO ALL PERSONS CONCERNED:
You are hereby notified that on April 20, 1983, pursuant to a Petition for Probate filed in said Court on said date by Ralph L. Pitts, III, the Will of Geraldine E. Pitts, Deceased, was admitted to probate and Ralph L. Pitts, III was appointed Executor of the Estate of Geraldine E. Pitts, Deceased, without bond, and duly qualified as such Executor and Letters Testamentary were issued on April 20, 1983 by this Court pursuant to the Kansas Simplified Estates Act. All parties interested in said estate will take notice and govern themselves accordingly.
All creditors are notified to exhibit their demands against said estate within six (6) months from the date of the first publication of this notice as provided I by law, and if their demands are not thus exhibited they shall be forever barred.
