    Hazel Pottorf
    Hazel Noreen Pottorf, 77, Topeka, died Sunday, June 25,2000, at a Rossville care center.

    She was born July 1,1922, in Holdenville, Okla., to Clarence E. and Ethel L. Bennett Brinlee. She graduated from Yeager High School in Yeager, Okla., in 1940. She lived in Wichita before she moved to Topeka in 1949.

    She worked in aircraft plants in Wichita during World War II.

    She was a member of Oskaloosa Chapter No. 62, Order of Eastern Star, in Oskaloosa.

    She married Roland George Pottorf on July 29,1946, in Wichita. He survives. A daughter, Lois Eileen DeWitt, and twin infant grandchildren preceded her in death.

    Other survivors include three sons, Micheal Pottorf, Sumt;er, S.C., Rex Pottorf, Silver Lake, and Mark Pottorf, Elmont; a brother, Oliver Brinlee, Holdenville, Okla.; two sisters, Waunita Brinlee, Holdenville, Okla., and Evalena Howard, Derby; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

    Cremation is planned. Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Barnett’s Meriden Funeral Chapel in Meriden. Inurnment will be private.

    Memorial contributions may be made to the Kansas Diabetes Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders Association.
