    RUSELL PRATER
    Rusell Prater, 70, formerly of Rossville, died Wednesday, January 19, 1983, in Spokane, Wash., after a short illness. He had Legionnaire’s Disease.

    Mr. Prater was the son of the late Hezekiah “Kye” and Linnie Prater, Rossville. He was born January 18, 1912, near Rossville and attended school near there.

    He was a veteran of World War 1, and was one of seven brothers who were also veterans of that war.

    Rusell is survived by two sons in the state of Washington; one sister, Opal Montgomery, Fontana, Calif.; three brothers, Earl Prater, Rossville, Ray Prater, Sunnyvale, Calif., and Omar Prater, Denver, Colo.

    Funeral service and burial were in Spokane.
