  Obituary- Preble, Walter Walter Preble Sr Walter Preble Sr aged 70, passed away at his home in Scandia, Kansas Tuesday evening, August 21, after suffering a heart attack. He is survived by two children, Scandia, and was preceded in death by his wife in 1941. He was survived by two children, Mrs. Marceil Wood of Manhattan, and Walter Preble Jr of Rossville. Funeral services will be held Friday August 24, at the United Brethren church at 2 p.m.
