Mr. and Mrs. Ben Rasch, Belvue, will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary Sunday, Oct. 30, with open house at their country home.
No invitations are being issued, but friends and relatives are asked to call from 2 to 5 p.m. The couple asks that no gifts be presented.
Mr. and Mrs. Rasch have spent most of their fifty years in Wabaunsee county where they have been engaged in farming.
They have one child, Mr. Marion Rasch, Rossville; three grandchildren, and two great-grandsons. Mr. and Mrs. M.C. Rasch of Rossville will be hosts for the reception.

Marion C. “Bud” Rasch, 63, Rossville, died Sunday, September 7, 1980, at a Topeka hospital.
He was born June 19, 1917, at Eskridge. He lived most of his life at Rossville.
Mr. Rasch farmed south of Rossville.
He was a member of the Rossville United Methodist Church, Hesperian Lodge No. Ill, AF&AM, and Amarylis Chapter #321, O.E.S. all at Rossville; Scottish Rite bodies, Arab Shrine and Moose Club #555, all at Topeka; and the Shawnee County Farm Bureau. He served on the Rossville School Board several years.
On May 14, 1939, he was married to Elsie Bahner, who survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Wayne C. Rasch, Athens, Ga., and Ronald Rasch, San Francisco, Calif.; a daughter, Miss Carla Rasch, Lawrence; his parents, Benjamin and Minnie Seele Rasch, Belvue; and five grandchildren.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Rossville United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Rossville Cemetery. Parker-Price Mortuary, Topeka, was in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Rossville United Methodist Church.
