    Obituary- Reaser, Keith
    Keith Reaser

    Keith W. Reaser, 54, 8029 N.W. 35th, died Thursday at his home.

Reaser was found at approximately 6 p.m. in his car with the engine running, Shawnee County Under sheriff Ed Smith said. The car was inside the garage with the door down, he said.

“The evidence points to accidental death,” he said.

Smith said Reaser apparently fell asleep in the vehicle after he went to the garage to warm up the car. Reaser had been taking medication that apparently made him drowsy, officials said.

An autopsy was scheduled to be performed late this afternoon.

He was a veteran of service in the U.S. Navy in World War II and was a employee at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. in Topeka 30 years at the time of his death. He was a welder.

He was a member of Assumption Catholic Church and United Rubber Workers Union Local No. 407.

Survivors include two sons, Kary William Reaser and Clint Eric Reaser, both of Silver Lake; two daughters, Mrs. Karen Robison, Silver Lake, and Mrs. Vickie Norris, 2520 S.E. Tidewater; his mother, Mrs. Ella Reaser, 315 W. 5th; a brother, Kenneth A. Reaser, 212 Hancock; a sister, Mrs. Cleda McFeeters, 6012 W. 27th Ter., and five grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Assumption Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
