    Joseph J. Reeb
    Joseph J. Reeb, 88, Topeka, died Thursday, Feb. 22,1996, at a Rossville nursing home.

    Mr. Reeb was a machinist for the Berkley Pump Co. at Berkley, Calif., for 35 years before he retired in 1972. He was a Navy veteran and had served in the Sea Bees.

    He was born Oct. 3,1907, at Topeka, the son of Joseph and Anna Lenhart Reeb.

    Mr. Reeb was a member of Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church.

    He was married to Mary M. Mohler on Jan. 20,1940, at Topeka. She survives.

    Other survivors include a brother, John Reeb, Arcadia, Calif.; and three sisters, Ann Tibbetts, Santa Rosa, Calif., and Rose Niemackl and Florence Hilderman, both of Topeka.

    Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Inurnment will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery at a later date. Mr. Reeb will lie in state from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.
