    Agnes V. Reeder
    Agnes Virginia Brook Reeder, 88, Silver Lake, died February 5, 1990 at Rossville Valley Manor.

    She was born October 6, 1901, at St. Marys, the daughter of Joseph arid Frances Martinek Spacek.

    She was a member of the Silver Lake United Methodist Church and was a Sunday School Superintendent for many years. She belonged to the Silver Lake Rebecca Lodge #45 and American Legion Auxiliary 160.

    She was married January 5, 1920 to Samuel R. Brooks. He died April 1, 1960. She was married to William H. Reeder in 1962. He died April 20, 1967. She was preceeded in death by two daughters and one son.

    Survivors include two daughters, Marcia Anderson, Silver Lake, and Dorothy David, Atlanta, Ga.; three sons, George Brooks, Topeka, Samuel Brooks, Rossville, and Larry Brooks, Silver Lake; two sisters, Elizabeth Amos, Nixa, Mo., and Lucy Urchek, Elmira, NY; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

    Services will be 10 a.m. Wednes¬day at Newcomer-Diffenderfer Funeral Home, Topeka.

    Burial will be at 12 (noon) at Belvue Cemetery. Family visitation will be Tuesday, 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
