 | Obituary- Rendle, George George Rendle
SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Services were here this afternoon for George A. Rendle, 84, a former Kansan, who died Friday at his home here. He had a heart attack.
He was born March 15, 1886, at Ottawa, Ill., and moved to the Adrian community in Jackson County, Kan., in 1897. He lived in California several years. He was a 60-Year member of Platte Valley Lodge No. 32, AF&AM, at North Platte, Neb.
He was married to the former Elsie Hill, Jan. 16, 1915. She survives. A daughter, Evelyn Rendle, died in 1945.
Other survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Dulcia E. Hejtmanek, 1108 Western, and Mrs. Charlotte Naill, 1244 Washburn, both in Topeka; and three brothers, William P. Rendle, 3137 N.W. 66th, Charles H. Rendle, 1108 Western, and Lewis H. Rendle, 800 Gage, all in Topeka.
Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery, Sacramento, Calif.
