    Clara Marie Reser
    SILVER LAKE - Clara Marie Reser, 77, Silver Lake, died Monday, Sept. 14, 1998, at a hospital in Topeka.
    Mrs. Reser was a drapery maker for more than 20 years, and she did food demonstrations for various grocery stores.
    She was born Sept. 27, 1920, in St. Marys, the daughter of William S. and Mary A. Beseau Bower.
    Mrs. Reser was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church.
    She married Melford E. Reser on Oct. 8, 1940, in Oskaloosa. He died Jan. 4, 1996.
    Survivors include a son, Rodney M. Reser, Silver Lake; two daughters, Marlyn Bush, Wildersville, Tenn., and Patricia M. Haynes, Topeka; two brothers, William Joseph Bow¬er, Downey, Calif., and Bernard Bower, Topeka; two sisters, Pauline Day, Topeka, and Janet Reser, Tecumseh; seven grand¬children; and six great-grandchildren.
    Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Name Catholic Church. Burial will be in Prairie Home Cemetery. Mrs. Reser will lie in state after 2 p.m. today at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home where a parish rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
    Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Name Catholic Church, 1114 S.W. 10th, Topeka, 66604.
    Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home in Topeka is in charge of arrangements.
