    FRIEDA RESER
    Frieda Rosalind Reser, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Mont Reser, was born near Rossville April 27, 1908, and passed away Tuesday, August 18, at University of Kansas hospital in Kansas City, Kansas, af¬ter a lingering illness. She was pre¬ceded in death by her mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Mont Reser, and one sister, Miss Gladys Reser.
    Surviving relatives are two broth¬ers, Harold and Lawrence and two sisters, Miss Rosalie Reser and Mrs. Earl Doty, and one niece all of Rossville.
    For the past ten years she has made her home at St. Marys.
    She united with the Methodist Church in 1923 at the age of 13. Frieda was always kind and thoughtful of others and was loved by all who knew her. She had a large circle of friends.
    Funeral services were held this Thursday morning at 10 o’clock in the Methodist church. Conducted by Rev. Wright Horton of Riley, Kansas. Music was furnished by Mrs. Ruth Hesse, Mrs. Arthur Wallerstedt, Mrs. C.E. Gresser and Miss Leona Griswold.
    The pallbearers were Roy Wilt, Richard Cantillon, Leo Uhlrich, Tom Uhlrich, Dean Higgins and Pat Kline of St. Marys.
    Interment was in Rossville cem¬etery.

    The out-of-town friends and rel¬atives to attend the funeral of Frieda [sic] Reser were Miss Elsie Hunts¬man of St. Louis, Mo.; E.C. Quig¬ley, Jr., of Grand Island, Neb.; Mr. Henry Quigley, Mrs. Alice Reser, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Reser, Miss Veron¬ica Reser, Miss Dorothy Reser, Leona Goodno, Mr. Merle Calveneau, Mrs. Jack Hyett and Mrs. Bessie Shearer, all of Topeka.

    Mr. and Mrs. Albert Thomas of Topeka drove to Rossville this morn¬ing to attend the Frieda Reser fun¬eral.

    Rev. and Mrs. Wright Horton and Evelyn of Riley were in Rossville to¬day to attend the funeral of Miss Frieda Reser.

    Mr. and Mrs. Will Reser of St. Marys were [missing] today to attend the funeral of [missing] Reser.
