ROSSVILLE — Minnie L. Reser, 84, Rossville, died Friday, June 3, 1994, at a St. Marys nursing home.
She was born March 12, 1910, in the Kaw Township south of Belvue, the daughter of Fred and Mary Beasterfield Holz. She had lived in Ross¬ville since 1990.
Mrs. Reser was a member of the Wells Creek United Church of Christ in Belvue.
She was married to Ervin E. Reser on May 13, 1927, in Topeka. He died Oct. 29, 1972.
Survivors include a son, Roy Reser, St. Marys; two daughters, Betty J. Wells, Baldwin City, and Lola M. H. Stevanus, Ottawa; six grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Mon¬day at the Verschelden Chapel in St. Marys. Burial will be at the Rossville Cemetery. Mrs. Reser will lie in state after noon today at the funeral chapel where relatives and friends will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. today. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 603 S.W. Topeka Blvd., Topeka, 66603.

Minnie L. Reser, 84, Rossville, died Friday, June 3, 1994, at a St. Marys Manor.
She was born in Kaw Township, south of Belvue, on March 12, 1910, the daughter of Fred and Mary Beasterfeld Holz.
May 13, 1927, she was united in marriage to Ervin E. Reser in Topeka. He died October 29, 1972.
She was a homemaker. Minnie was baptized and confirmed in the Wells Creek United Church of Christ at Belvue. She lived north of Rossville until 1935, moved to the St. Mary’s College farm where she lived until 1970, then lived in St. Marys until 1990, when she moved to Rossville.
Surviving her are one son, Roy Reser, St. Marys; two daughters, Betty J. Wells, Baldwin City, and Lola M. Hutley Stevanus, Ottawa; six grandchildren; four great-grand¬children; and two step-great- grandchildren.
Family received friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Verschelden Chapel. Her funeral service was at 10:30 Monday at Verschelden’s. Interment was in the Rossville Cemetery, Rossville.
