| Marriage- Fauerbach, Evelyn-Rezac, James Mr. James Rezac, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Rezac living northwest of Rossville and Miss Evelyn Fauerbach, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L.D. Fauerbach, of the same neighborhood secured a license to wed at Holton last week. Both young people are graduates of the Rossville high school, the bride with this year's class. |

Mr. and Mrs. James Rezac were pleasantly surprised on their 33rd wedding anniversary May 28 by their neighbors and friends who presented them with a gift.
Refreshments of wedding cafe and ice cream were served by Linda and Virginia Rezac, Judy Hoy and Steve Johnson of Topeka.
Those present despite the heavy rains were Mr. and Mrs. John Fauerbach and family, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hultgren, Mr. and Mrs, E. W. Rezac, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Decker, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Tholl, Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Rezac and family, Mrs. Mabel Fauerbach, Mrs. Elsie Me Collough, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Davis and Mr. and Mrs. Fred McCollough and family.

Mr. and Mrs. James E. Rezac, Rossville, will celebrate their Golden Wedding anniversary on Sunday, May 17, 1979, with a reception in their honor from 2 to 4 P.M. in the Rossville Presbyterian Church. The occasion will be hosted by their daughters, Mrs. John Dayton and Mrs. David Foster, and their families.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend. The couple requests no gifts.
Mr. and Mrs. Rezac were married in Holton May 28, 1979 [sic 1929].

| Obituary- Rezac, James 1 James E. Rezac
James E. Rezac, 79, Rossville, died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 1989, at a Topeka hospital.
Mr. Rezac was a soil conservation contractor and a farmer.
He was born March 7, 1910, in Rossville, the son of James V. and Victoria Macha Rezac.
Mr. Rezac was a member of the Presbyterian Church, Hesperian Lodge No. Ill, AF&AM, and Amaryllis Chapter No. 321 of Order of Eastern Star, all in Rossville.
He served many years on Shawnee County Rural Water District No. 1, now No. 2, and on the Rossville Grade School board.
He was married to Evelyn Fauerbach May 28, 1929, in Holton. She survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Linda L. Dayton, Over¬and Park, and Virginia K. Foster, Rossville; a sister, Elsie Lynde, Topeka; two brothers, Ernest W. Rezac, Rossville, and Richard A. Rezac, Santa Rosa, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Verschelden Funeral Home in St. Marys. Burial will be in Rossville Cemetery.
Mr. Rezac will lie in state after 10 a.m. today at the funeral home where relatives and friends will meet from 7 until 8 p.m. today. Memorial contributions may be made to Rossville Rescue Unit and sent in care of Shawnee County Rural Fire District No. 3, Rossville, 66533, or to the Presbyterian Church in Rossville.
