    Wearing a three-quarter bridal veil, a gown of white satin trimmed with matching overlace yoke and sleeves and carrying an arm bouquet of pink roses, Miss Grace Sanders, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Sanders, became the wife Wednesday morning of Mr. Warner Rogers, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Rogers at Willard. The wedding took place at the Rossville Christian Church. C.K. Thomas officiating.

    To Celebrate Silver Wedding Anniversary
    Mr. and Mrs. Warner Rogers of Route No. 9, Topeka, will be honored with a reception Sunday, July 26th, in celebration of their 25th wedding anniversary. The reception will be held at their home south of Dover from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the afternoon. Relatives and friends are cordially invited.

    Warner W. Rogers
    DOVER — Warner W. Rogers, 85, Dover, died Friday, Oct. 15, 1993, at a Topeka hospital.

    Mr. Rogers was a farmer in Dover several years.

    He was born Dec. 22, 1907, near Willard, the son of Arthur and Ethel Miller Rogers. He grew up in Willard and was graduated from Rossville High School in 1926.

    He was a member of the Dover Federated Church, and was a 50-year member of both the Dover Grange and Dover Lodge No. 138, AF&AM.

    He was married to Grace Sanders in Rossville in 1934. She survives.

    Other survivors include a daughter, Norma Rogers Vilander, Eskridge; a son, Marvin Rogers, Richardson, Texas; three sisters, Nora Todd and Marjorie Woofter, both of Maple Hill, and Winnie Smith, Topeka; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

    Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Dover Federated Church. Burial will be in the Dover Cemetery. Mr. Rogers will lie in state from 2 to 7:30 p.m. today at Crable Funeral Home in Eskridge.

    Memorial contributions may be made in care of the Dover Federated Church and sent in care of the funeral home.
