| Marriage- Stadler, Marcella-Ruff, Dale STADLER—RUFF
Miss Marcella Stadler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nick Stadler and Mr. Dale Ruff, were married Saturday morning at 11:30 in the office at the Assumption church in Topeka.
Miss Mildred Stadler, sister of the bride acted as bridesmaid and Mr. Richard Cantillon was best man Mrs. Cantillon was also an attendant at the wedding. Following the ceremony a wedding dinner was served at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Monteil Miles and covers were laid for: Mr. and Mrs. Ruff, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Contillon and son, Miss Mildred Stadler Miss Bertha Miles and Mr. and Mrs. Miles.
Mr. and Mrs. Ruff are at home on the Anthony Ruff farm west of Rossville.

Marsella A. Ruff, 80, Rossville, died Thursday, September 27, 2001 at a Topeka hospice House.
She was born October 15, 1920 in Topeka, the daughter of Nicholaus and Barbara Walder Stadler.
Mrs. Ruff lived in the Rossville community all her life. She grew up in the Rossville community and had lived on a farm near Rossville since her marriage. She worked in food services at the Topeka V.A. Hospital and the K.N.I. in Topeka. She later was a retail clerk for Woolworths and Arlyns in Topeka. For the past eight years Mrs. Ruff was a greeter at Wal-Mart.
She was married to Dale C. Ruff on February 3, 1940 in Rossville. He survives.
Other survivors include a son, Frank Ruff, Davidsonville, MD; a daughter, Mary Ann Diehl, Leawood; four sisters, Mildred Wallace and Irene Mader, both of Topeka, Ruth Cornelius, Newton, Kathryn Lombardi, Kenvil, NJ; three brothers, George Stadler, Tucson, AZ, Sylvester Stadler, Topeka, Nicholaus Stadler, Wichita; and two grandchildren.
Mrs. Ruff was cremated. Private services will be held later.
Piper-Verschelden Funeral Home, St. Marys, was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Ruff her husband farmed near Rossville for 60 years. She also had worked in food services at the VA Medical Center in Topeka and the Kansas Neurological Institute in Topeka. She later was a retail clerk for Woolworths and Arlyns in Topeka, and she was a greeter at Wal-Mart the past eight years.
She was born Oct. 15, 1920, in Topeka, the daughter of Nicholaus and Barbara Walder Stadler. She was a lifelong Rossville resident.
She married Dale C. Ruff on Feb. 3, 1940, in Rossville. He survives.
