    Real Pioneer of Kansas
    Mrs. Elizabeth Sage, 79, Has Resided in Kansas Since 1851

    Mrs. Eliza Sage, 79, pioneer resident of Dover, died at the home of her son, Fred Sage, 510 Topeka Ave. yesterday morning. Mrs. Sage came
    to Kansas with her parents when she was 6 years old. She resided in Topeka when it had only one store. Later she moved to a farm near Dover.

    She was married to Aaron Sage at Dover September 11, 1865, and made her home near Dover until three years ago, when she came to Topeka Besides her husband, she is survived by three children, George Sage and Fred Sage, Topeka, and Mrs. Minnie Bundy, Dover, and two grandchildren, Miss Doris Miler and Harley Sage, Topeka.

    Lincoln Circle No. 1. Ladies of the G. A. R. will hold a short ritualistic service at the Sage home at 10 o’clock Thursday morning. Funeral services will be at the Dover Methodist church at 2 o’clock Thursday afternoon. Burial will be in Dover cemetery.
