    Roy Sage
    DOVER — Roy Sage, 92, Dover, died Saturday, Nov. 19, 1993, at a Topeka nursing home.

    Mr. Sage was a farmer.

    He was born Aug. 24, 1901, near Dover, the son of Edwin and Anna Scott Sage. He attended rural district school No. 5, west of Dover, and school No. 5, west of Dover, and Strickler's Business College in Topeka.

    He was married to Mary Luella Moran on May 19, 1927. The couple lived on their farm southwest of Dover until September 1990, when they moved to a retirement center in Topeka. Mrs. Sage survives.

    Other survivors include two sons, Robert Sage and Harold Sage, both of Dover; a daughter, Shirley Jepson, Topeka; a brother, Harvey Sage Rossville; a sister, Ellen Randall, Topeka; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

    Mrs. Sage survives.

    Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Dover Federated Church. Burial will be at the Dover City Cemetery. Mr. Sage will lie in state from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home is in charge of services.
