  Obituary- Sargent, Mary Mary E. Sargent ROSSVILLE – Mary E. Sargent, 87, Rossville, died Thursday, Dec 1, 1994, at a Rossville nursing home. Miss Sargent farmed with her parents in the Wakefield area. She was born July 16, 1907, in Chetopa, the daughter of George and Margaret VonTrebra Sargent. She was reared in Riley and attended Pittsburg State College. Miss Sargent was a member of the Episcopalian Church in Chetopa and the Riley Order of the Eastern Star Chapter No. 292. Survivors include a sister, Ernestine Baird, Maple Hill. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Holmes-Pfeifley Funeral Home in Riley. Burial will be at the Riley Cemetery. Miss Sargent will lie in state today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cat Association of Topeka and sent in care of the funeral home.
