    Francis J. Schraeder
    ROSSVILLE — Francis J. “Dutch” Schraeder, 87, rural Rossville, died Tuesday, Aug. 20,1996, at his home.

    Mr. Schraeder was a farmer and stockman.

    He was born Jan. 17,1909, on a farm near Rossville, the son of Frank and Mary McDonnell Schraeder. He was graduated from Rossville High School and lived on the same farm near Rossville his entire life.

    Mr. Schraeder was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Delia.

    He was married to Georgia Keener on Sept. 24,1955, at Gardner. She survives.

    Other survivors include a brother, James Schraeder, Topeka; and a sister, Elizabeth Baker, Puente, Calif.

    Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church at Rossville. Burial will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery at St. Marys. Mr. Schraeder will lie in state after 3 p.m. Friday at Piper-Verschelden Funeral Home at Rossville where a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.

    Memorial contributions may be made to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Building Fund and sent in care of the funeral home.

    Francis J. “Dutch” Schraeder
    Francis J. “Dutch” Schraeder, 87, died Tuesday, August 20, 1996 at his home near Rossville.

    He was born January 17,1909 on a farm north of Rossville, the son of Frank and Mary McDonnell Schraeder.

    He lived in the Rossville community all of his life. He was born and grew up and lived oft the same farm all of his life. He was graduated from Rossville High School. He was a farmer and stockman. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Delia.

    He married Georgia Keener at Gardner on September 24, 1955. She survives.

    Other survivors are one brother, James Schraeder, Topeka; one sister, Elizabeth Baker, Puente, CA; two nephews and one niece.

    Mass of Christian Burial was at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church at Rossville. Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery, St. Marys. Piper-Verschelden Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
