    Sedlacek
    Frank, son of John and Anna Sedlacek, was born on December 1, 1880 in Polen in Klatv, Czechoslovakia. He was one of ten children. In the autumn of 1890 he with his parents came to America and settled near Malmo, Nebraska.
    In 1915 he was united in marriage with Theresie Stach in Omaha, Nebraska. Mr. and Mrs. Sedlacek farmed in the Malmo and Prague communities until the spring of 1927 when they moved to Rossville, Kansas. In 1951 they moved to a farm near Whiting, Kansas, where he retired in 1955. Mr. Sedlacek resided on his farm near Whiting, Kansas until his death.
    Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sedlacek’s marital life was blessed with seven children. One son passed away in infancy. Mr. Sedlacek departed from this earthly life at the Saunders Community Hospital, Wahoo, Nebr., while he was visiting briefly with relatives and friends in the Prague community. He was a 50 year member of the Z.C.B.J. Lodge No. 128 of Rossville, Kansas. He was also an officer of that lodge for several years.
    He leaves to mourn his earthly departure his beloved wife, two daughters, Mrs. Elvin Elsik from Dallas, Texas and Viola of Phoenix, Arizona; four sons, Zdenek and Louis of Prague, Nebraska; Raymond of Topeka, Kansas; and Jaroslav of Whiting, Kansas. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Josephine Kohout and Mrs. John Piacek of Prague, and three grandchildren.
    Funeral services were held at 2 o’clock Sunday afternoon. April 13, 1958, from the National Hall at Prague, and interment was in National Cemetery. Singers were Fredrick and Marjorie Houped with Mrs. Marjorie Proett, accompanying.
    Pallbearers were Theodore Sedlacek, Henry Sedlacek, John Sedlacek, jr., Fred Novak, Thomas V. Kasper, and William Kohout.
