| Obituary- Siebert, Francis Francis M. Siebert
Francis M. Siebert, 83, Topeka, died Wednesday, Aug. 29, 1990, at a Topeka hospital.
Mr. Siebert was a storehouse clerk for Santa Fe Railway before he retired in 1972. He previously worked for John Morrell Packing Co.
He was born Nov. 9, 1906, at Fostoria, the son of George and Lena Magnett Siebert. He lived in the Topeka area since 1933.
Mr. Siebert was a member of Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church and previously was a long-time member of St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Perry.
He was married to Stella C. Stich Aug. 8, 1933, at Delia. She died Oct. 31, 1989. A son, Donald Siebet, died in 1963.
Survivors include three daughters, Dorothy Geraghty, Clayton, Calif., Mary Lou Whittlesey, Marion, Iowa, and Beverly McQuilkin, Topeka; two sons, Francis E. Siebert, Oswego, and James L. Siebert, Enumclaw, Wash.; three sisters, Lola Hill, El Dorado Springs, Mo., Albertine Martell, Wheatland, Mo., and Corrine Atherton, San Luis Obispo, Calif., a brother George Siebert, Phoenix, Ariz.; 18 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Mr. Siebert will lie in state from 2 until 9 p.m. today at Brennan Funeral Home where relatives and friends will meet from 6 until 8 p.m. and a parish vigil service is scheduled at 8 p.m. today.
