    John D. Siegle
    John D. Siegle, 81, Yorktown, VA, died Wednesday, October 5, 1994.

    Mr. Siegle was born in Soldier and had been a Peninsula resident for 40 years. He was a member of Yorktown Baptist Church, a Mason, a Shriner and a former member of York Lions Club. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, and Korea, retiring in 1964 after 30 years of service. He retired as an engineering technician at the Naval Mine Engineering Facility in 1980 after 16 years of service.

    He is survived by his wife, Isabelle Kelley-Siegle; two daughters, Margie Silvers, Gloucester, VA, and Irene Goodkind, New York, NY; one stepdaughter, Treva Raub, Sacramento, CA, one stepson, Ronald Kelley, San Jose, CA; and one sister, Dora Ross, Delia.

    A memorial service was held Sunday, October 9, at 2:30 in Yorktown Baptist Church with the Rev. Donald P. Stroud officiating.
