    Retired Air Force major dies
    Maj. Maurice Dean Siegle, USAF (Ret.) died Sunday, Nov. 28, at his home in El Paso, Texas. He had retired from the Air Force with 27 years service.

    In recent years Major Siegle had served in the 341st Bomb Squadron and 95th Bomb Wing at Biggs AFB, Texas, and the 5040th CAM Group, Alaskan Air Command at Elmendorf AFB, 40th Air Refueling Squadron, 310th Bomb Wing at Schilling AFB, Kansas.

    He was a charter member of the KC-97 2000 Hour Club and held the Air Force Longevity Service Award with four Oak Leaf Clusters and: Air Force Commendation Medal. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 328SAF&AM, Gypsum.

    Major Siegle was graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso, and at the time of his death, was a teacher at Dolphin Terrace Elementary School. He attended the Tobin Park Methodist Church.

    Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Catherine June Siegle; two daughters: Linda Sue and Lois Ruth Siegle, all of El Paso; his mother, Mrs. Carl F. Siegle, and sister, Mrs. Dora Ross, both of Delia; two brothers: Harvey F. Siegle of Bremerton, Wash.; and John D. Siegle, Yorktown, Virginia.

    Services were held Thursday at the Tobin Park Methodist Church, with burial in the Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
