    LAWRENCE H. SIEH
    Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Rossville Christian Church for Lawrence H. “Larry” Sieh, 62, Silver Lake, who died Sunday, April 29, 1979, at his home.

    He was born January 20, 1917, at Blue Rapids, and moved to Topeka in 1945.

    Before moving to Topeka, he had been an auto mechanic in Blue Rapids, and since had been with Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. He was the second in longevity with the Goodyear plant in Topeka.

    He was married April 14, 1944, at Manhattan, to Alberta Kellsy. She survives.

    He was leader and treasurer of Boy Scout Troop 178. He also was active in the Cub Scout program. He had received the honorary camping award of the Order of the Arrow. He was a home repair merit badge counselor and had been honored by the troop as an outstanding father.


    He was a charter member of both Southwest Christian Church and Town and Country Christian Church, and had served as an elder and building chairman of those churches. At the time of his death, he was a member of the Rossville Christian Church.
    Other survivors include two sons, the Reverend Robert Sieh, Rossville, and Kenneth Sieh, Hays; and four grandchildren.

    Burial will be in the Westmoreland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Rossville Christian Church. Parker-Price Mortuary, Topeka, is in charge of arrangements.
