    Former Teacher Dies of Heart Attack
    Robert James Sigg, 40, a former teacher at Rossville High School, died Friday at his home in Manhattan of an apparent heart attack. Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton with burial in Holton Cemetery.

    He was born Nov. 7, 1924, at Soldier. He was graduated from Kansas State University where he received bachelor’s and master’s degrees. He taught school at Rossville and in Jackson County before becoming principal at Seneca and Corning High Schools. For the past five years he worked in the admissions department at Kansas State University.

    Mr. Sigg was a member of the First Methodist Church at Manhattan.

    Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gottleib, Manhattan; and three sisters, Mrs. Helen Duffy, Circleville, Mrs. Geraldene Tolin, Holton, and Mrs. Marjorie Willis, Lake Charles, La.
