Richard L. “Dick” Skidmore, 81, Topeka, died Wednesday, April 11,2001, at an Overbrook nursing home.
Mr. Skidmore was a self-employed electrician. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
He was born Jan. 9,1920, in Willard, the son of Albert M. and Estella M. Swick Skidmore. He was raised in Willard and moved to Topeka in 1986.
Survivors include a daughter, Janice Wallace, Homestead, Fla.; a brother, Joe E. Skidmore,
Bull Shoals, Ark.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. Skidmore was cremated. Graveside inurnment services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Rossville Cemetery.
Newcomer Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
