    Mrs. Armilda Slocum
    Services will be at 9 a.m. Monday at Parker-Price Mortuary for Mrs. Armilda “Alice” Slocum, 71, Topeka. She was found dead Thursday, July 2, 1987, at her home.

    Dr. Roman Hiszczynskyj, deputy district coroner said she died of natural causes. No autopsy was performed.

    Mrs. Slocum worked more than 20 years for Petro’s Medical and Home Health Care Center before she retired.

    She was born Dec. 8, 1915, in Hoyt, the daughter of Jerry and Anna Fliescher Hainline. She lived in the Hoyt area before she moved to Topeka in 1955.

    She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

    She was married to Clyde A. Slocum Feb. 1, 1934, at Holton. He died Nov. 17, 1980.

    Survivors include two foster sons, Clyde O. Pasley and Donald Pasley, both of Topeka; and two foster daughters, Rosalee Rogers, Perry, and Julia Keller, Delia.

    Burial will be in Hoyt Cemetery at Hoyt. Memorial contributions may be made to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1129 Kent Place, 66604; or the American Heart Association, 5375 W. 7th, 66606.

    Mrs. Armilda “Alice” Slocum, 71, Topeka, was found dead at her home Thursday, July 2, 1987. She was born Dec. 8, 1915, at Hoyt, the daughter of Jerry and Anna Fliescher Hainline.

    Mrs. Slocum had lived in the Hoyt area before moving to Topeka in 1955.

    She had worked for Petro’s for over 20 years until she retired.

    She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

    She was married to Clyde A. Slocum, Feb. 1, 1934, at Holton. He preceded her in death on Nov. 17, 1980.

    She is survived by two foster sons, Clyde O. Pasley and Donald Pasley, both of Topeka; and two foster daughters, Rosalee Rogers, Perry, and Julia Keller, Delia.

    Funeral services were to be at 9 a.m. Monday, July 6, 1987, at Parker-Price Mortuary. Interment was to be in the Hoyt Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1129 Kent Place, Topeka, KS 66604 or to the American Heart Association, 5375 S.W. 7th, Topeka 66606.
