    Clyde A. Slocum



    Clyde A. Slocum, 67, 1836 E. 32nd, died Monday at a Topeka nursing home.

    He was born May 3, 1913, at Holton, the son of Samuel and Nellie Hess Slocum. He spent most of his life in the Topeka area.

    Mr. Slocum was a mechanic for the Shawnee County maintenance department and was a farmer north of Topeka before he retired in 1967. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

    He was married to Alice Hainline Feb. 11,1934, at Holton. She survives.

    Other survivors include two foster daughters, Julia Keller, Delia, and Rosalie Rogers; Perry; two foster sons, Clyde Pasley and Donald Pasley, both in Topeka; four brothers, Tom Slocum and Bob Slocum, both in Topeka, Virgil Slocum, Hoyt, and Samuel Slocum; in Missouri; and a sister, Lucille Crider, Holton.

    Service arrangements are pending at Parker-Price Mortuary. Burial will be in Hoyt Cemetery.
