Mrs. Lora Olive Springer, 81, Delia, died Thursday at a Topeka hospital.
She was born Oct. 11, 1882, at Ridge Farm, Ill., and moved to Delia with her parents when she was 16 years old. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church at Delia.
She was married to Ernest H. Springer and Delia August 20, 1899. She and her husband observed their golden wedding anniversary in August, 1949.
Survivors include her husband, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Herma Stauffer, Cheyenne Wyo., and Mrs. Sylvia McGue, 3700 Wilder Road; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Presbyterian Church at Delia with burial in Delia Cemetery. The body will lie in state from 1p.m. today to noon Saturday at Verschelden Funeral Home, St. Marys.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Shawnee County Parental Home Fund, Shawnee County Juvenile Court, Topeka.
Springer, Mrs. Lora Olive – Of Delia, Age 81. Passed away April 23, 1964. Services at 2 pm. Saturday at the Presbyterian Church at Delia, the Rev. Donald Sears officiating. Interment, Delia Cemetery. Mrs. Springer will lie in state from 1 p.m. Friday until noon Saturday when she will be taken to the church at Delia. The family requests no flowers, but would appreciate memorial contributions to the Shawnee County Parental Home Fund, Shawnee County Juvenile Court, Courthouse, Topeka.

DIES IN HOSPITAL
Mrs. Lora Olive Springer, 81, of Delia died early Thursday morning at Stormont-Vail Hospital, Topeka. She was born October 11, 1882, at Ridge
Farm, Illinois. She moved to the Delia Community with her parents when she was 16 years old.
She was married to Ernest H. Springer at Delia, August 20, 1899. Mr. and Mrs. Springer celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in Delia, August 1949. Mrs. Springer was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Delia.
She is survived by her husband, Ernest H. Springer; two daughters, Mrs. Herma Stauffer, Cheyenne, Who., and Mrs. Sylvia McGue, Topeka; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Presbyterian Church at Delia. Interment was in the Delia Cemetery. Rev. Donald Sears officiated. Verschelden Funeral Home, St. Marys, was in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Gail Keller, Burton Keller, Roy Keller, Charles Keller, Vernon Keller, and Cecil Peters.
