They were attended by Mrs. Marion McDowell and Mr. Claude Radcliff. Mrs. St. Louis is employed at Harry's IGA as manager of bakery dept. Mr. St. Louis is employed by the Post Office. They will reside at 1716 W. 3rd St. in Topeka. |

WANDA EILEEN ST. LOUIS
Wanda Eileen St. Louis, 85, passed away Friday, Oct. 14, 2011, at her home in Topeka.
She was born June 8, 1926, at Rossville, the daughter of the late Walter and Ida Lorranie “Rena” Marney Patton.
Eileen grew up in the Rossville community and attended Rossville schools.
Mrs. St. Louis worked as a bookkeeper for Bauersfeld’s IGA and later for Sutton’s Grocery in North Topeka until she retired. Eileen was a member of the Mater Dei Holy Name Catholic Church in Topeka. She also was a member of the Citizen Band Potawatomi Nation of Shawnee, Okla. She loved her family and considered their welfare as her most important concern.
On Feb. 2,1968, she was united in marriage to Charles L. “Chuck” St. Louis. He preceded her in death on Nov. 30,2008.
Mrs. St. Louis was also preceded in death by brothers Osto, Kermit and Cleo “Pete” Patton and sisters, Donic Parr, Juanita Foresman, A. Hope Meade and Nora Dell Foresman.
Survivors include sons, James W. Lemon, El Dorado, Ark., Joel Robert Lemon, Topeka, Charles L. St Louis Jr., Mililani, Hawaii, and Jerrol O. Leman, Topeka; a daughter, Jennifer (Bill) Comstock, Topeka. Additional survivors include grandson Jason O. Lemon, Cody St. Louis, Connor St. Louis; granddaughters Melissa A. Comstock. Lauri L. Comstock, Susan L. (Lemon) Tolin, Candice (Lemon) Pritchard and Nicole St. Louis and six great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 19, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Rossville.
Interment will be in the Rossville Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Stanislaus Catholic Church Building Fund and sent in care of Piper Funeral Chapel, P.O. Box 642, Rossville, KS. 66533.

Mrs. St. Louis will lie in state and the family will receive friends after 6:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at Piper Funeral Chapel in Rossville, where there will be a rosary recited at 7:00 P.M.
