Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Decker, Rossville, were honored by their children on their 55th wedding anniversary with a dinner at China Inn in Topeka Friday evening, January 28.
Guests included: Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Decker, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Stach, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Meyer, Gretchen and Blake, all of Rossville; Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Decker, Brent, Emily and Bryce and Mr. and Mrs. Urban Schmitz and Matthew, all of Topeka; Mr. and Mrs. Norman Steele, Rod and Russ, St. Marys.
Mr. and Mrs. Willis Decker, Kansas City, Mo., were unable to attend, but called earlier in the day.
The Deckers were married January 28, 1922, at Topeka and will have resided in the Rossville community 55 years this summer.

Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Decker, Rossville, will observe their 60th wedding anniversary quietly in their home Thursday.
They were married Jan. 28, 1922, in Topeka, and have lived in Rossville all their married lives.
They have four children: Winifred Stach, Rossville; Willis Decker, Kansas City; Gerald Decker, Topeka; and Charlotte Steele, St. Marys; and 14 grandchildren. |

Frank and Winifred Stach celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Nov. 14 with their family.
The Staches were married Nov. 14, 1943, in Corvallis, Ore., while he was serving in the U.S. Army. They farmed in the Rossville and Delia areas until retiring in 1980. They have two daughters, Virginia Meyer, Rossville, and Marilyn Schmitz, Silver Lake. They have four grandchildren.

| Obituary- Stach, Winnie Winnie Stach
Rossville- Winnie Stach, 92, died peacefully on March 25, 2015 at her daughter’s home in Rossville. She was born September 2, 1922 in Rossville to Ernest and Mary Orrick Decker. She married Frank Stach November 14, 1943 in Corvallis, OR. He died September 7, 1999. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Marilyn Schmitz, on November 28, 1994, and a brother, Willis Decker.
Mrs. Stach is survived by a daughter, Virginia Meyer, and
husband Tom of Rossville; Grandson, Blake Meyer, Rossville, Granddaughter, Gretchen Upton, and husband Kory, San Antonio, TX, Grandson, Matthew Schmitz, and wife, Julie, Bend, OR, Grandson, Nathan Schmitz, Alameda, CA; Great-grandson, Oliver and Gabe Upton, San Antonio, IX; her sister, Charlotte Kling, St. Marys and a brother, Gerald Decker, Topeka.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at the Rossville United Methodist Church. Interment will be in the Rossville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30 until 8:00 P.M. Monday, March 30, 2015 at the church.
