    MRS. ALBERT STAMP
    Roena Equilla Richards was born July 14, 1872, at Erie, Kansas. She passed away at her home in Rossville February 3, 1935, at the age of 62 years, 6 months and 19 days.

    She was united in marriage to Albert Stamp on September 19th, 1887, at Erie, Kansas. To this union nine children were born, three of whom died in infancy.

    She is survived by her husband four daughters, Mrs. Estella Burns Ordway, Colorado, Mrs. Mary Hansen, St. Marys, Mrs. Nora Atkinson Topeka, and Mrs. Josephine DeGraff Rossville; two sons, Edwin Stamp Evanston, Wyoming, and Clarence Stamp, Manhattan; one sister, Mrs. James Dodge, Chico, California. There are also twelve surviving grandchildren and two great grand-children.

    Mr. and Mrs. Stamp have lived in Rossville since 1890. She has been associated with the Methodist church for years, and was the member of longest standing in the local Royal Neighbors of America lodge.

    Funeral services were held at the Methodist church Tuesday afternoon conducted by Rev. Horton. Hymns selected by Mrs. Stamp before her death were sung by a quartet of ladies, Mrs. E. G. Griswold, Mrs. Arthur Wallerstedt, Mrs. C. E. Gresser and Mrs. E. E. Witter, accompanied by Miss Edith Higginbotham. Pallbearers were L. F. Page, William Sneller, Ira Hopkins, F. E. Strimple M. L. Whearty and E. D. Hartzell.

    The Royal Neighbors attended in a body and had charge of the services at the grave. Burial was in the Rossville cemetery.
