    The news was received yesterday morning by Jesse Starkey of the death of his brother J.M. Starkey, at the home of the latter's daughter, Mrs. Wm. Wortham, 2616 east 9th, Kansas City, Mo. Mr. Starkey died shortly before the telegram came here. The body was taken to Chicago today for burial. Every summer for the last twelve years until this year Mr. Starkey had visited his brother Jesse at the E.D. Hartzell home and was quite well known here. Mr. Starkey was nearing his 84th year and his death was caused by a general breakdown.
