    Mrs. Arlene L. Stauffer
    HOLTON — Mrs. Arlene L. Stauffer, 65, Holton, died Saturday at her home. She suffered an apparent heart attack.

    She was born June 14, 1915, at St. Clere, the daughter of Ivan and Ethel Robbins Stuver. She lived in the Holton community for the past 40 years.

    Mrs. Stauffer worked in the Holton High School lunch room for 15 years.

    She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Holton.

    She was married to Thayne Stauffer on March 26, 1941, at Soldier. He survives.

    Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Barbara Matthews, Onaga, and Mrs. Tharon Gay Brey, Whiting; a son, Rodney Stauffer, Holton; her father, Ivan Stuver, Holton; a sister, Mrs. Geraldine Bolin, Tecumseh, Neb.; a brother, Kenneth Stuver, Topeka; and seven grandchildren.

    Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Mercer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Holton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Holton Hospital heart monitor fund, Holton, 66436.
