    Fred E. Stephenson

    Word was received this week of the death of Fred E. Stephenson, 70, at Houston, Texas, Saturday Sept. 29, where he had made his home the past 40 years.

    He was born in Argentine, Kans., and was the nephew of the late Mrs. Alice Thomas Tatman.

    He was a former resident of Rossville, living with the Tatman's at the home now occupied by the Stanley Smith family.

    Funeral and burial services were held at Houston.

    He is survived by his wife and two daughters and four grand-children, all of Houston.
