| Anniversary- Crow, Lorenzo and Daisy; Stitt, David and Iva Pardee’s Cafe was the scene of three wedding anniversary celebrations Thursday evening. Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Crow and Mr. and Mrs. Dave Stitt were enjoying a dinner out in observance of their wedding anniversaries when Mr. and Mrs. Ammon Dietrich of Silver Lake arrived for an evening out in celebration of their anniversary. Daisy and Lorenzo Crow celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary, Iva and Dave Stitt celebrated their 37th, and the Dietrichs were remembering their 51st. |

Stitts to have open house
Mr. and Mrs. D. R. Stitt will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary Sunday, February 25, with open house from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Community Center. No invitations will be sent, but relatives and friends are invited to call.
Mr. and Mrs. Stitt were married at Rev. Bentley’s home south of Willard February 27, 1922. All their married life has been spent in the Willard-Rossville community. They have one daughter, Mrs. Donna Whiteman of Silver Lake, and one granddaughter. |
| Anniversary- Stitt, David and Iva 3 To celebrate golden wedding
Mr. and Mrs. Dave Stitt will celebrate their Golden Wedding anniversary on Sunday, Feb. 27, at a reception in their home, 521 Spruce Street, Rossville.
Relatives and friends are invited to call between 2:00 and 5:00 p.m.
Mr. and Mrs. Dave Stitt were married in Willard and have spent all of their married life in the Willard and Rossville
communities.
They are the parents of one daughter, Mrs. T. R. Whiteman of Silver Lake, and have a granddaughter, Mrs. Terry
Blush, also of Silver Lake.
The reception will be given by Mrs. Whiteman, Mrs. Blush and families, and friends.
The couple asks that no gifts be presented.

Mrs. Iva Belle Stitt, 88, Rossville, died Friday, May 13, 1988, at the Rossville Valley Manor.
She was a homemaker.
She was born Dec. 5, 1899, at Cedar Point, the daughter of Arnold and Olive Oat Kidd.
Mrs. Stitt moved to Willard at the age of 18 and spent the rest of her life in the Willard and Rossville communities.
She was a member of the Rossville United Methodist Church; a 50- year member of Amaryllis Chapter No. 321, Order of the Eastern Star, at Rossville; past district aide of the Eastern Star; past matron of Royal Neighbors of America, and a charter member of the Rossville Golden Agers.
She was married to David R. Stitt on Feb. 27, 1922, at Willard. He died Jan. 27, 1976. She also was preceded in death by an infant daughter.
Survivors include a daughter, Donna Whiteman, Silver Lake; a grandchild; a great-grandchild, and three step-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Rossville United Methodist Church. Lodge services will be conducted by Loyal Chapter No. 176, Order of the Eastern Star, Silver Lake. Burial will be in Rossville Cemetery.
Mrs. Stitt will lie in state until noon Monday at Parker-Price Mortuary, Topeka. Memorial contributions may be made to the Loyal Chapter No. 176, Order of the Eastern Star, in care of Mrs. Pauline Snyder, chapter treasurer, 3325 N.W Hoch Road, Silver Lake 66539, or to a foundation of the donor’s choice.
