| Obituary- Strimple, Eugene EUGENE STRIMPLE
Eugene Strimple, 79, 535 West 3rd street, Junction City, Kansas, died Saturday, March 24. He was born at Rossville, Kansas, April 8, 1876, and lived near here most of his adult life. His father was a pioneer Methodist preacher and one of the founders of the Rossville Methodist church.
He was married to Mabel VanVleck on April 29, 1903. His widow survives and also three children, Evelyn Strimple of Junction City, Earl Strimple of Wichita, and Joe Strimple of Galveston, Texas. He also leaves a brother, Frank Strimple of Rossville, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Rossville Methodist church Tuesday, March 27, at 2 p. m., Johnson Funeral Home of Junction City, Kansas, in charge. The Rev. Don Jones conducted the services. Burial was in Rossville Cemetery.
