| Obituary- Strimple, Mabel Services were held Tuesday from the Rossville First United Methodist Church for Mrs. Mabel Strimple, 89, Junction City, former resident of the Rossville community.
Mrs. Strimple died Saturday in a Junction City hospital, where she had been admitted three days previously. She had been ill two months.
Mrs. Strimple was born Jan. 24, 1881, at Gardner, Ill., and had lived in Rossville and Lawrence before moving to Junction City in 1952.
She was married to Eugene Strimple on Apr. 29, 1903, at Seattle, Washington. Mr. Strimple preceded her in death on Mar. 24, 1956.
Survivors include a daughter: Evelyn Strimple, Junction City; two sons: Earl E. Strimple, Wichita; Joseph E. Strimple, Galveston, Tex.; a sister: Mrs. William Lambert, Silver Lake; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Burial was made in the Rossville Cemetery. |
