OPAL F. TERRILL
Mrs. Opal F. Terrill, 79, Rossville, died Friday, January 30, 1981, at a St. Marys nursing home.
She was born December 15, 1901, at Burr Oak, the daughter of John and Edna Davis Fishburn.
Mrs. Terrill and her husband operated a bakery at Republic from 1929 until 1936: a grocery store at Randall from 1936 to 1946: and a farm near Ionia from 1946 until they retired and moved to Rossville in 1963.
She was a member of Rossville United Methodist Church, the Friendly Circle of the church, and Independent Order of Odd Fellows Auxiliary at Ionia.
She was married to Robert Allen Terrill on October 8, 1921, at Burr Oak. died June 25, 1977. A son, Lawrence
Terrill, died in 1944.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Charlotte Duley, Mission, Tex., and Mrs. Glenda Peters, St. Marys; a son, R. Lloyd Terrill, Topeka; three sisters, Mrs. Avis Powell, Silver Spring, Md., Mrs. Ruth Jackson and Mrs. Paige Evans, both of Loveland, Colo.; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Services were at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Verschelden Funeral Home, St. Marys. Burial was in Burr Oak Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Rossville United Methodist Church.
