    Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence A. Teske, Delia, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, April 24, at the St. Marys Senior Center, 403 Lasley, St. Marys.

    Hosts will be their children: JuDee and Ron Freel, Larry and Pat Teske, and Charla and Russ Freel, St. Marys.

    Lawrence Teske and Bernadine Cameron were married April 24, 1938, in rural Wheaton. They have three grandchildren. The couple requests no gifts.

    V. Bernadine Teske
    V. Bernadine Teske, 74, Delia, died at her daughter’s home in St. Marys, Monday, May 4, 1992.

    Mrs. Teske was a school teacher and taught in rural Pottawatomie County schools before her marriage.

    She was born June 28, 1917, in Louisville, the daughter of Charles E. and Florence Ella Taylor Cameron. She graduated from Havensville rural and high schools and attended Kansas State College.

    Mrs. Teske was a member of Pottawatomie United Methodist Church in rural Jackson County.

    She was married to Lawrence A. Teske on April 24, 1938, in Wheaton. He survives.

    Other survivors include a son, Larry D. Teske, St. Marys; two daughters, JuDee Turner, and Charla Friel, both of St. Marys; a sister, Gail Edwards, Council Grove; and three grandchildren.

    Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at St. Marys United Methodist Church.

    Mrs. Teske will lie in state after 2 p.m. Tuesday (this afternoon) at Verschelden Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be from 7:00 to 8 p.m.

    Burial will be at Delia Cemetery.

    A memorial fund to be designated later by the family may be left at the funeral home.

    V. Bernadine Teske
    DELIA — V. Bernadine Teske, 74, Delia, died Monday, May 4, 1992, at the home of a daughter in St. Marys.

    Mrs. Teske taught in rural Pottawatomie County schools before she was married.

    She was born June 28, 1917, north of Louisville in Union Township, Pot-tawatomie County, the daughter of Charles E. and Florence Ella Taylor Cameron. She was graduated from Havensville Rural High School and attended Kansas State Agricultural College at Manhattan.

    She lived in the Delia area since 1951.

    Mrs. Teske was a member of the Potawatomi United Methodist Church near Mayetta in Jackson County.

    She was married to Lawrence A. Teske April 24, 1938, at Wheaton. He survives.

    Other survivors include two daugh-ters, JuDee Turner and Charla Freel, both of St. Marys; a son, Larry D. Teske, St. Marys; a sister, Gail Edwards, Council Grove; and three grandchildren.

    Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Marys United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Delia Cemetery. Mrs. Teske will lie in state after 2 p.m. today at Verschelden Funeral Home in St. Marys where family and friends will meet from 7 until 8 p.m. today. Contributions may be made to the Bernadine Teske Memorial Fund to be designated at a later time by relatives and left with the funeral home.
