Miss Rae Cottle and Mr. Auty Trimble, both of this city were married yesterday in Topeka and left last night for Russell, Kan., for a short wedding trip. Mrs. Trimble is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cottle, and until recently has been an efficient assistant in the "Central" office. Mr. and Mrs. Trimble expect to go on a farm in the spring.

Maxine Trimble
Herbert and Maxine Trimble of Hollister. Mo., formerly of Rossville, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary as guests of honor at a buffet dinner with relatives and friends Saturday at College of the Ozarks at Point Lookout. Mo.
Dinner hosts will be their foster daughter, Isolde Hinds and her husband, Lyle, of Littleton, Colo., and their foster daughter-in-law, Bunny Wood of Moore, Okla. They have four foster grandchildren and four foster great-grandchildren.
Herbert Trimble and Maxine Miller were married Aug. 9, 1947. at First Methodist Church in Topeka.
Mr. Trimble is volunteer office manager of the Ozark Mountain Hospice at Branson, Mo. He retired as manager of warehouse at College of the Ozarks at Point Lookout, Mo.
Mrs. Trimble is volunteer public relations director of the Ozark Mountain Hospice in Branson. She retired as associate dean of students and professor of psychology at College of the Ozarks.

| Obituary- Trimble, Herbert HERBERT TRIMBLE
Herbert Trimble. 88, of Hollister, Mo., passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2008, in Point Lookout Nursing and Rehab in Hollister, Mo.
He was born Jan. 26, 1920, on a farm near Rossville, the son of James Auty and Rae Trimble.
He was educated in Rossville Elementary School, Rossville High School, and Central Business College, Kansas City, Kan. He served in the United States Air Force from April 1944 to Dec. 1945. He married Maxine Miller on Aug. 9, 1947.
He was engaged in farming in the Rossville community until 1955, worked for the International Harvester Company from 1955 to 1968, and was manager of the warehouse and purchasing agent for the College of the Ozarks from 1968 until his retirement in 1982. He helped organize and was office manager of the Ozark Mountain Hospice for 23 years.
He was a member and elder of the William’s Memorial Chapel in Point Lookout, Mo„ Branson Lodge No. 587, A.F. A.M., Pemberio American Legion Post No. 0020, Branson Chapter No. 299, Order of the Eastern Star, Branson-Hollister Lions Club and Gideon’s International.
Survivors include three foster children. Bonny Wood, Isolde Hinds and Jean Grothe; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Maxine Trimble.
Services were held at Branson on Tuesday, March 11.
Burial will be in Rossville Township Cemetery, Rossville, on Wednesday, March 12, at 11 a.m.
