    Charles R. Van Vleck
    Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Parker- Price Mortuary for Charles Rolland Van Vleck, 60, Topeka, who died Saturday, June 15, 2002, at a Topeka hospital.
    He was born Sept. 28, 1941, in Kansas City, Mo, to Edward Foster and Luella McConnell Van Vleck. He graduated from Delia High School in Delia. He spent most of his life in Topeka. He worked for Southwest¬ern Bell Telephone as a repeater technician for 33 years before he retired in 1998.
    He was a volunteer for Joyful Harvest Church. He was active in the Masters Pool League for many years.
    Survivors include a son, Charles R. Van Vleck II, Ozawkie; five daughters, Kristy Roe and Sheena Wingo, both in Topeka, Buffy Norton, Galveston, Texas, and Rebecca Jaap and Rachel Van Vleck, both in Oskaloosa; a brother, Clifford Van Vleck, Topeka; two sisters, Laura Thomas, Topeka, and Mary Kay Neidfeldt, McFarland; and 14 grandchildren.
    Lillard Post No. 31 of the American Legion in Rossville will conduct graveside services at Rossville Cemetery.
    Mr. Van Vleck will lie in state after 3 p.m. today at the mortuary, where relatives and friends will meet from 6 to 8 p.m.
