HOLTON — Beulah E. Welborn, 81, Holton, died Sunday, Dec. 27, 1992, at a Holton nursing home.
She was born March 13, 1911, in Mayetta, the daughter of Alvin K. and Lucy Davis Appier. She lived in the Rossville and Delia communities from 1930 to 1947 and in Netawaka from 1947 to 1973 when she moved to the Holton area.
Mrs. Welborn was a member of the United Methodist Church in Netawaka and the Netawaka Home Demonstration Unit.
She was married to Marshall Hahn Sept. 9, 1930, in Lyndon. He died Dec. 6, 1970. She was married to Norman Doak Welborn Aug. 27, 1976. He died March 18, 1987.
Survivors include two sons, James Charles Hahn, Topeka, and Robert C. Hahn, Holton; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will be in Netawaka Cemetery. Mrs. Welborn will lie in state until service time at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Holton Hospital Building Fund and sent in care of Denison State Bank in Holton, 66436.
