| Obituary- Wells, Harold 1 HAROLD O. WELLS
Harold O. “Pink” Wells, 73, died suddenly at his home in Rossville Wednesday, May 3, 1978.
He was born August 4, 1904, at Delia and spent all his life in the Rossville-St. Marys community, where he farmed.
He was a past master of Pottawatomie Lodge No. 52 and district deputy grand master in 1956-57 of District 24, AF&AM. He was a member of St. Marys United Methodist Church.
Mr. Wells was married to Hazel Hawk December 24, 1928, in Topeka. She survives.
Other survivors include a son, Melvin Wells, Mayetta; two daughters, Mrs. Buelah Pierson, Hastings, la., and Mrs. Florence Werner, Paxico; four brothers, Myron, Cecil and Herbert Wells, Holton, and George Wells, Topeka; two sisters, Mildred Eby, Mayetta, and Clara Harper, Newcastle, Wyo.; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Verschelden Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Services were pending at press time.
